The Unchaining

Abrupt and powerful was the earthquake that caused the tsunami of massive destruction within me,

the one that eroded my naivety and idealism till the softness of wisdom and the longing of forgiveness were clearly exposed on the shores of my soul, 

that wielded its power to transform my deepest thoughts into words of healing,

and that shaped my understanding of who I am at my essence:

free of judgement and self-doubt, and free of unnecessary chains to hold me hostage.
